Power Electronics
The best of both worlds: the voltage and temperature performance of ceramic, with the reliability, stability, and manufacturability of film.

Solid dielectrics face a basic trade-off between dielectric constant and the electric field they can withstand. Caporus avoids that limit with Nanoscale Lamellar Porosity (NLP™) technology.
NLP™ uses porous dielectric structures and controlled electric field distribution to increase breakdown strength. A higher electric field is carried within the nanopores, which enables higher energy density.
The result is a flexible ceramic dielectric, applied as a slurry-based coating on polymer film. No sintering is required.

The NLP™ coating can be applied to non-metallized or metallized film, depending on the capacitor design.
